This One Day Adventure and Wellness Retreat will include:

This Retreat is taking place at Camp Wolf Willow, located 45 minutes south of Saskatchewan, situated on the picturesque banks of the South Saskatchewan River!

    One-Day Retreat

    This One Day Adventure and Wellness Retreat will include:

    • Guided Stand-up Paddleboard from Outlook to Camp Wolf Willow (15 km paddle; approximately 5-6 hours)

    • Immersive Sound Bath by Michelle Paul of Sovereign Soul (1 hour in length)

    • 1.5 hour Sauna in our wood-burning barrel Sauna to soothe your Mind, Body & Soul

    Total duration: 10-11 hours

    This Retreat is for you if you’re desiring an immersive day in nature!

    This is Retreat is best for those who desire a guided outdoor adventure with all the equipment supplied, allowing you to show up and enjoy this experience with little planning!

  • Camp Wolf Willow, located 45 minutes south of Saskatoon.

    You will leave your vehicle at Camp Wolf Willow and be shuttled to Outlook. From here we will paddle 15 km back to Camp Wolf Willow. The Sound Bath and Sauna will be located at Camp Wolf Willow!

  • $275 CAD + tax/person

    Limited to 8 guests.

    Cost includes:

    • Guided Stand-up Paddleboard on the South Saskatchewan River

    • Rental of Stand-up paddleboard, leash, PFD, whistle and paddle

    • Shuttle to the launch location

    • Picnic lunch

    • Immersive Sound Bath for 1-hour

    • Relaxing and unwinding in the wood-burning barrel sauna for 1.5 hours

  • Your day will begin with meeting your guide at 8 am at Camp Wolf Willow before traveling to our launch location. Once at our launch location, we will unload gear and prepare for the day of paddling by being briefed with an equipment and safety overview by your guide. We will launch and enjoy a day of paddling down the river with the current. We will stop for lunch on a sandy beach and enjoy a picnic lunch.

    We will arrive back at Camp Wolf Willow where you will be shuttled back to the Camp and have the opportunity to enjoy some snacks and/or a drink at the winery before your 1-hour immersive Sound Bath overlooking the South Saskatchewan River.

    Following your Sound Bath, you’ll relax and unwind in the wood-burning barrel sauna prior to heading back home feeling rejuvenated!

    This is a Full Day experience with a duration of approximately 10-11 hours in length.

    Inquire with Camp Wolf Willow to stay the night in one of their A-frame cabins, Bell Tents or camp sites!

  • Level 2: Previous paddling experience in conditions with boat traffic, moving water and waves will help you on this trip, and stamina to paddle up to 4 hours, with breaks every hour! You must be comfortable paddling in a straight line, turning and stopping. You must have experience standing-up on your SUP, be comfortable standing for up to 30 minutes at a time and be confident that you won’t fall in when standing. You’re more than welcome to kneel or sit when you need a break! If you’re feeling unsure whether this trip is appropriate for your paddling ability, please reach out!

    Your guide is a Paddle Canada Instructor and will brief you on paddling techniques and safety information.

  • All of our paddles include most of the equipment you will need to feel comfortable adventuring with us, here is what is provided:

    Included in your Full Day Retreat:

    • Group outing

    • Experienced Paddle Canada Instructor and Guide

    • Immersive Sound Bath Experience

    • Use of the wood-burning barrel sauna

    • Rental of Red Paddle Co. Touring Paddleboard, PFD, leash, whistle, paddle

    • Picnic lunch

    • Rental of sauna hats, change robes, chairs to relax

    • Safety equipment - communication device, first aid kit

    Participants must provide:

    • Submersible footwear

    • Clothing layers to keep you warm (base layer, fleece sweater, rain gear, toque, mitts)

    • Extra change of clothes

    • Bathing suit

    • Towel(s)

    • Blanket and Pillow for the Sound Bath

    • Sandals or slippers to wear to the sauna

    • Water bottle

    • Snacks

    • Dry bag (optional to bring your items on the board)

  • What should I wear?

    You can wear a swim suit underneath a base layer (we recommend a merino wool short sleeved or long sleeved top). Then pack with you a fleece or wool sweater and a rain jacket. As for bottoms, we recommend wearing a quick dry material of shorts, capris or pants and bringing with you a pair of rain pants. As for your feet, we recommend submersible footwear that you can get wet. Please bring with you an extra change of clothes and footwear.

    Do you supply life jackets?

    Yes, we have various sizes of PFDs/life jackets that we provide, along with a whistle attached!

    Can I still join if I’ve never paddled before?

    Even though we recommend previous paddling experience, we can provide you with training that will allow you to feel safe and confident on a stand-up paddleboard!

    Do I need to stand for the duration of the paddling adventure?

    Absolutely not! You can stand, kneel or sit down for any duration of the paddle!
