A guided stand-up paddleboard experience with a certified Paddle Canada SUP Instructor on the River, launching and ending in Saskatoon;
A safety and paddling stroke overview so that you’re able to paddle the most efficiently during this experience;
1.5 hours on the water to relax and unwind while the river flows underneath you and carries your worries away!

Level 1: This experience is open to beginner paddlers. You are welcome to sit for the entire duration of the experience. You must be comfortable paddling in a straight line, turning and stopping. Having taken a stand-up paddleboard lesson previously is recommended if you’re feeling unsure. We offer lessons if you’re feeling like that may be beneficial prior to an experience with Back2Nature!
Your guide is a Paddle Canada Instructor and will brief you on paddling techniques and safety information.

All of our paddles include most of the equipment you will need to feel comfortable adventuring with us, here is what is provided:

Rental of Paddleboard, PFD, leash, whistle, paddle, light
Safety equipment - communication device, first aid kit carried by your guide
Participants must provide:
Submersible footwear
Clothing layers to keep you warm (base layer, fleece sweater, rain gear, toque, mitts)
Extra change of clothes
Towel
Water bottle
Dry bag (optional to bring your items on the board)
Paddleboard, paddle, leash, life jacket and whistle if bringing your own board
Transportation to the launch location

What should I wear?
You can wear a swim suit underneath a base layer (we recommend a merino wool short sleeved or long sleeved top). Then pack with you a fleece or wool sweater and a rain jacket. As for bottoms, we recommend wearing a quick dry material of shorts, capris or pants and bringing with you a pair of rain pants. As for your feet, we recommend submersible footwear that you can get wet. Please bring with you an extra change of clothes and footwear.
Do you supply life jackets?
Yes, we have various sizes of PFDs/life jackets that we provide, along with a whistle attached!
Can I still join if I’ve never paddled before?
Even though we recommend previous paddling experience, we can provide you with training that will allow you to feel safe and confident on a stand-up paddleboard!
Do I need to stand for the duration of the paddling adventure?
Absolutely not! You can stand, kneel or sit down for any duration of the paddle!
