This Nordic Ski or Snowshoe and Sauna experience is for you to adventure, explore and connect for some winter fun!
The OAC Skin Skis are an easy-to-use ski designed for the backcountry. They are a short wide ski that allows for incredibly maneuverable skiing and climbing with a skin on the bottom for ultimate traction. These are a cross between a cross country ski and a snowshoe! These skis do not require any specialty footwear, you can use your own boots!
We will explore the local trails in Blackstrap Provincial Park with the OAC Skis or Snowshoes and then enjoy an Après Ski/Snowshoe Sauna by relaxing and unwinding in a wood-burning barrel sauna and enjoying a curated grazing box by The Prairie Grazer!
All equipment for you to enjoy the sauna is provided!
Please note: If there is not enough snow for a ski or snowshoe, this experience will be modified to a winter hike!

What should I wear?
For your skiing adventure, we recommend that you wear layers, wool clothing is best. A toque, mitts, neck warmer, winter jacket and pants and boots are recommended.
For the sauna experience, we recommend that you wear light breathable clothing or a bathing suit in the sauna.
Light breathable clothing will prevent you from overheating in the sauna. Be sure that the clothing is breathable and won’t stick to your skin and cause irritation if you begin to sweat.
Swimsuits are a great option if you plan on going swimming or taking a shower after your sauna session.
Will there be a washroom on site?
Yes! There is a heated drop toilet
Will there be a change room to use?
Yes! The sauna has a three-foot change room and the Lotus Belle Tent has a change tent inside.
